Even before the Silversun was created, there were those who still struck out into the Desolation seeking food, treasures, and maybe even survivors. Of those, few made it back, but those who did had learned to use the land and how best to kill before something else got the chance to kill them.

You are always on alert, and hard to take by surprise. Tell the GM about this feature: you will have advanced warning of ambushes and other surprise encounters.
Twice per encounter you may call DOUBLE by melee against an enemy you were not previously engaged in combat with. Against your favoured enemy you may choose to call QUAD instead.
Once per encounter you may call BREAK by melee. Against your favoured enemy you may choose to call AGONY instead.
