The Desolation brought a lot of the world to ruin, but within that ruin are treasures. Scavengers are the sorts who know best how to pick through those, find the diamonds in the rough, and bring them back home. These can be trinkets and artefacts, but oftentimes Scavengers will stumble upon real sources of power and begin to dabble with the higher powers.

Invariably, Scavengers will encounter something that draws in their attention - and, in part, their Soul. For some, this is can be a harmless enough particularly entrancing weapon or trinket, but for others - or those who devote their time and mind to it - the power within can become an obsession.
Pick an item and apply one of the following properties to it and gain its call once per encounter:
You're able to sift through the things left behind in the world and find the rare gems within them.
Three times per adventure, at the end of an encounter when you have time available, you may tell the GM you are having a look around for something and what the flavour of that is, and they will give you an item with a relevant minor benefit.

Once per encounter you may gain another use of the call granted by your Arcane Trinket when you call EXECUTE.
Once per adventure you may restore all of your hits and become STRENGTHENed if someone or something attempts to take your Arcane Trinket away from you.
